Business Conduct
ETHICAL CONDUCT
As an Flowercorp employee you must perform all of your duties responsibly and honestly, always within the law, and in line with the policies established.
CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT
As per your signed confidentiality agreement received with your official job offer, during your time at Flowercorp, or when your employment ceases, you should not communicate any confidential knowledge or information relating to the company and our clients unless required by legal authorities or at the written request of the company.
You should make sure that you take steps to ensure that you know whom you are divulging information to and check what relevance it is or may be to them.
If you are required to divulge information after your employment due to legal or regulatory obligation, you must notify Management in writing of the information you have been requested to disclose and the disclosure that you intend to make.
HANDLING MEDIA ENQUIRIES
If you are approached by the media, please refer the enquiry to the PR team in marketing. All media enquiries will be handled by the PR team and specifically nominated staff.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Anything which you may create, be involved in creating or be involved in preparing in the course of your employment, such as documents, designs, models, proposals, methodology packs or financial research, etc., belongs to Flowercorp. For the avoidance of doubt, you hereby assign all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyright, in such work to Flowercorp absolutely.
Upon termination of employment all originals and copies should be returned and no copies should be retained without written permission from the Director.
NON SOLICITATION
Flowercorp must protect its ability to provide the highest level of service to its clients and the investment it makes in creating and maintaining an effective team and a stable, trained workforce.
During your time with the company, you must not either alone or with others directly or indirectly, solicit or endeavour to entice away any member of the Flowercorp team by encouraging them to terminate their employment, appointment or contract whether in breach of their contract or not.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST
Please consider the principle of conflict of interest and refrain from being influenced or swayed by your own personal interests that may not be to the benefit of the company during employment. This includes servicing clients with web solutions for your own personal gain, and in your own time.
From time to time, you may be presented with opportunities and information from competitors, partners, potential customers, customers, suppliers and vendors, which could potentially be conflicting to the company.
You must act in the most ethical manner when in this situation. Please contact Management if you are unsure about appropriate behavior.
Please contact HR for further information.
